There are various theories in “Thirteen Mounds” in Japan. It is a name given from the idea of thirteen Buddhas. It is a name given from the princess and twelve servants, the military commander and 12 servants, a big rat and twelve cats etc.
In the case of the Samukawa town, there is a theory that it is a mound for mourning the samurais who died in the 15th century war.
However, as a result of excavation, nothing came out.
After all, it is unknown what the Thirteen Mounds in Samukawa Town was made for.
